Cadienne Obeng is Akos.  Akos is what we mean when we say a strong woman.  A young mother of two living with her husband  in the US.  She is resilient in navigating her personal life while battling the immigration system of the United States to acquire residency and ultimately get her 7 year old son into the US.

Cadienne Obeng is an actress and storyteller whose multicultural heritage profoundly influences her work. Born to Jamaican and Ghanaian parents, she grew up amidst a rich tapestry of accents and languages, discovering early on that language was a powerful form of self-expression. Since then, Cadienne has appeared on films and Tv shows on Apple TV and NBC captivating audiences with her transformations. She is dedicated to amplifying underrepresented voices that inspire meaningful dialogue and connection.

Roger Yawson is Nathan. Nathan, a young man who entered the US as a visitor with his wife. He's an orphan who navigated through life on his own up until marrying Akos. He carries a lot of emotional wounds from his past that causes him to make poor choices that affects his household though he's a good father.

Roger Yawson has appeared on numerous films and TV shows including Imperium starring Daniel Radcliffe, Dear Edward on Apple TV+ and New Amsterdam on NBC. Roger won 2 Best Actor Awards for his role in Walls, a short film he produced and starred in.

Asif Khan as Mr. Ahkbar. Mr Ahkbar owns a restaurant that Akos finds herself working at. 

Asif Khan was born in Karachi, Pakistan in 1978. Although his college studies focused on electronics and computer technology, he took every opportunity he could to indulge his love of the arts, writing songs and poetry and even authoring and starring in a play of his own. He emigrated to the United States in 1998 and settled in Orlando, FL where he began acting in commercials and modeling for print advertisements a few years later. In 2006 he felt he found his calling on a film set and decided to pursue acting regularly from then on. Asif lives in North Carolina with his wife and three young children.

Darlyn Adu as Debra. Debra is the younger sister of Akos who is also living in the US. She betrays her sister in a very vile way. 

Daryln Adu is a graduate from the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. She was born in West Africa, Ghana. With over 18 years of experience as an actor, Darlyn has been involved in films such as Black Lady Goddess which was an official selection in the New Orleans Film Festival, The Pan African Film Festival and the African Film Festival in NYC. Darlyn became a Co-Host on Ghana's national network, TV3 on the daytime show The Ladies Circle. Darlyn has made a name for herself and worked with some of Ghana's top production companies. Her recent work, Eno, is currently on Showmax with high ratings.

Akofa Edjeani as Akos' mom. Akos' mom is her support system taking care of Akos' 7 year old son in Ghana.

Miss Akofa is one of Ghana's most respected actors! With a career spanning over 30 years, Miss Akofa has done it all and won numerous awards. She's been a judge on Ghana's hit talent show on TV3.  We're blessed to have witness Miss Akofa's grace and talent on this film.
